Bring  and Share Meal

Jane has received responses to her email and to date at least 17 members will be attending.

Gill is bringing jacket potatoes. Janet Stupples won’t be coming but will be providing chicken soup. Mary will provide tablecloths, napkins and bin bags.

It was suggested and agreed that we will bring and share the drinks.

To avoid being left out in the cold (like last year) Gill will collect the key the evening before.

There will be trading.

St Barnabas need to paid in advance (i.e. now) and Sonja and Jane will arrange this.

AGM

This is planned to take place on 29th April and Jean will book both rooms at the Friends Meeting House. Trading will take place.

Jane will ask as to whether we can have a speaker from one of the other Lets groups, for example Hemplets.

Lizzie will be asked if she can supply scones, but if not Jane will supply them. Christine offered to help as needed.

Sonja will arrange for the accounts to be audited and all other officers need to provide their reports.

Any Other Business

Jean raised the subject of needing a new co-ordinator as Jane is standing down. Jane will distribute an email giving the job description and at the same time saying that we also need someone to carry out the marketing.

Valerie  will be doing the next newsletter and needs articles by the end of January at the latest.

Sonja reminded everyone that the games group meeting takes place the following day.

Bob spoke about the Soulbury Green Millennium quiz which is due to take place on 25th February at 7.30pm with the quiz starting about 8pm. He is no longer a trustee but he will check on the details regarding tickets etc.

Valerie told us about a Day of Indulgence which is being hosted by Milton Keynes Letnet on 19th February at Westbury Arts Centre. It will have tasters of many things and Valerie will let us have more details later.

Sue suggested a murder mystery evening, and this has been planned for the 18th March at Sue’s.

The next meeting will take place on Monday 20th February at Sonja’s, 187 Vandyke Road.

·         The meeting ended at 8.50pm and was followed by trading.
